HAZEL M. HENDRICK
Feb. 27, 1927 - July 25, 2006
ELKHART -- Hazel M. Hendrick, 79, of Elkhart, died at 11:05 a.m.
Tuesday (July 25, 2006) at East Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Hazel was born Feb. 27, 1927, in McComas, W.Va., to Harvey L.
and Birtie M. (Spicer) Aust. She married Roy Elvin Hendrick
on Feb. 20, 1944, in Lortin Lick, W.Va. He preceded her in death in
1999.
She is survived by one son, Timothy W. Hendrick; two
daughters, Beth Reid and Donna Clore; seven
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Sadler
and Shirley Bilecki.
One daughter, Judy Rogers, preceded her in death.
The children wish to express their love and gratitude to her niece,
Elaine Holland, and her nephew and wife, Danny and Tammy Holland, for
all the love and support they have shown their mother over the past
eight years.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and a half hour prior to
the 2 p.m. Friday funeral service, all at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman
Funeral Home, 403 W. Franklin St., Elkhart. Burial will be at Rice
Cemetery.
Hazel was employed at Personalized Services for 20 years before
retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Elkhart.
